Ocean Wave Communication Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as "OWC" or "the Company") was officially incorporated in Yangon, Myanmar on April 24,2015, with a registered capital of 50 million US dollars. Head quartered in Mandalay, Myanmar, OWC is committed to becoming an integrated information service provider in Myanmar. Dominated by fiber optic access and based on transmission networks,the Company integrates network planning, transmission equipment, computer room construction, sales operation and maintenance. In 2017, the Company obtained the highest level of telecommunications business operation license issued by the Myanmar government:I license. In the future, the Company will further expand its service scope toprovide more affordable and stable Internet information products for the people of Myanmar. |
The Company shall implement scientific and standardized management in strict accordance with the modern enterprise management system, rationally allocate power between owners and operators, distribute benefits fairly and define their respective responsibilities, establish effective incentive, supervision and checks and balances mechanism, and form complete systems for personnel management,financial control, plan management, budget management, business management,operation and maintenance management, training management and performance appraisal.
Since its establishment, the Company has specially recruited management, marketing and communication technology talents from China Telecom, China Mobile, Cambodia, and Yangon,Myanmar, etc. At the same time, it has vigorously recruited and cultivated local talents. By the end of 2018, the Company has 218 employees, including: 35Chinese employees, 1 Vietnam employee and 182 Myanmar employees, with local Myanmar employees accounting for over 80%.With adequate experience in project management, communication technology and marketing, they can fully meet the needs of various information services.
Meanwhile, the Company has established stable technical support and business cooperation relations with a number of well-known IT equipment manufacturers and communication operators in China, so as to ensure that it can quickly provide local Myanmar customers with the most advanced IP communication technology and information application services in China and even in the world.
